ACEO Arsillyd by NerielMi ACEO Arsillyd by NerielMi
The stars are shiny!

Arsillyd, an ancient creature, is coming to her new home.

ACEOcard for great *Lyswen (I really love her art style ^^). I hope I didn't make anything wrong with the characters design... And I hope that you'll like it! This was fun to make, I experimented with new paper and weird combination of paints.:)

:omg: this is really nice. The super thin lines give it a storybook-like quality, and I adore the color combonation!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.:) I like to experiment a lot when I make ACEOcards, I usually don't use violet or gouaches in combination with ink, I guess this was quite a right choice.:) I may try something larger with this technique in the future, it was fun to make this.

Thank you so much, Ama. I tried another paper than I usually use for this ACEO, it makes the colors very vibrant and the shapes are more refined, the watercolors didn't blend to each other. But I guess that in case of space it seem better than if it was perfectly smooth as usually. I'm glad that you like it.:)

If you want to try it, it's Canson - Montval Torchon, paper with a lot of cellulose inside. Or I can send you a sample once when I'll send something to you.:)

uhu indeed! :D I should do that more often myself! :D most of my cards tend to be.. meeh, floaty characters, shiney colours, but not with a true dedication to the characters' bg and personality... meeh, not enough at least! :D

Don't worry about the details! :D I can clearly see that this is Arsillyd, and the impression gave me a whole new perspective about my own character! :D Never before was she drawn like this, not even by me! :D so truely, I have to thank you for that too! :D

That's why I like to gain some informations about the character before I start painting, I like to paint cards or pictures with some deeper thoughts inside, there's too low amount of them in the world.:D I'm so glad that you like it that much! I was a bit affraid about the character's details.
